In January 2021, the Aspen Institute named nine new Aspen Spain Fellows, including COO of Constella Intelligence, Alejandro Romero. Each year, Aspen Institute España selects members from its alumni network who embody the Aspen values and who have demonstrated exemplary participation in Aspen’s programs. With this round of additions, Aspen España’s group of Fellows grows to 45 members.

Among the Fellows selected for this year’s program include: Miguel Aguilar, Literary Director of Penguin Random House; Salomé Cisnal de Ugarte, Partner in the Antitrust and Competition group of Hogan Lovells International LLP; Marta Colomina, Managing Director PwC Spain Foundation/Marketing and ESG Managing Director at PwC España; Emilio del Río, General Director of the Municipal Museums and Libraries of Madrid; Isabelle Le Galó, Director of Spain for the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation; Alex Pallete, Founder & Chief Strategy Officer at the Madrid office of Picnic; Carlos Pitillas, Professor and Researcher at the University Institute of Family Studies at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas; Nika Prislan, former Program Director at Aspen Institute España; and Alex Romero, COO of Constella Intelligence and Founder of Alto Data Analytics (now Constella Intelligence).

The objective of the Aspen España Fellowship Program is to contribute to the development of the Aspen mission through advising, supporting, and proposing ideas and initiatives. Importantly, these Fellows will act as representatives and ambassadors of the Institute and its mission.
