Facebook was used as a crucial coordinating tool and Twitter’s anti-disinformation measures gained visibility.

Before founding Alto, Alejandro successfully steered global companies in digital industry development in more than 20 different markets. Starting out as a manager with Alcatel (now Alcatel-Lucent), he later joined Vodafone Group where he forged strategic relationships with global partners such as Yahoo!, Microsoft, YouTube, eBay and Google.
He went on to develop the Yahoo! business in Southern Europe before becoming Vice President at Viacom with a remit across Southern Europe, Turkey, the Middle East and Africa.
Alejandro holds a Master of Science in Engineering (M.Sc. Eng.) specialized in Electronics and Automation from UMA University (Spain) and an MBA from Henley Business School (UK).
Alejandro is also an advisory board member of Senzari.com, a San Francisco (US) based company that develops premium digital entertainment services such as Wahwah.
